The HIHP Speed is the next generation of the HIHP series. Harley was excited to create a board without worrying about the future direction of the World Longboard Tour or its judging criteria. This model is all about delivering a truly versatile, high-performance 9'1". The narrow nose and tail, along with the repositioning of the wide point, gives the board a more overall curve, allowing tighter, more controlled turns in the pocket. The result is a board that trims more parallel to the wave face and feels more comfortable to walk, even with the slightly pointier ends. The outline is very similar to the board Harley rode to his first world event win in Anglet in 2008, but it now features the true HP rocker - the most proven, all-round high-performance rocker to date.
Fins:
For regular conditions, we recommend the FCS Harley XL tri set. For larger open faces or hollow surf, the FCS Harley XL quad set is ideal. Riders who enjoy extra speed may also prefer the quad setup on smaller days.
