The MOE mid-length range was designed to offer an easy ride and great paddling ability, while maintaining excellent stability and support. The bottom is fairly flat with a double concave between the feet — a perfect setup for carving turns on a wider board. The rails are kept reasonably thin for added sensitivity, transitioning from a neutral, rounded shape up front to a round, tucked edge through the fins, finishing with a low, hard edge behind the fins. They are foiled from forward of center toward the tail, providing strong drive through turns and smooth flow through whitewater sections.
The MOE range is now available in sizes under 7 feet, opening up one of our favorite boards to an even broader range of surfers and blurring the line between mid-lengths and full-performance shortboards. No matter your size, weight, or skill level, there’s most likely a MOE that will suit you.

Fins:
Both thruster and quad fin setups work well with the MOE. For sizes 6'6" to 6'10", we recommend the new FCS Harley Large Mid set. For the 7'2", 7'4", and 8'0" models, the FCS Harley XL quad set is ideal. Other fin combinations can also work, but we suggest using medium-to-large quad rears with an 80/20 foil, paired with flat-foiled large to XL front fins for optimal performance.
