The Mid6 range is designed to deliver maximum mid-length performance in all conditions. With its refined round pin tail, curvy outline, smooth rocker, and a touch of nose flip, it perfoms equally carving deep in the pocket or drawing long, open-face arcs. The rails run from fuller up front to mid tuck through to low and hard in the tail, with a balanced foil through the center - offering a good drive through sections while still holding strong through tight turns.

While the Mid6 excels in everyday surf, it’s tuned to handle serious waves with ease. Bill has perfectly designed the six channels: they’re not so aggressive that they track during turns, making it easy to break line or adjust arc length anywhere on the face. With the channels positioned between your feet, the response when pushing through a turn is immediate, and the acceleration is unlike anything I’ve ever felt on another board. The Mid6 completely breaks the old stereotype that channel bottoms only work in clean surf - it’s proven itself in all conditions.

Fins:
Both thruster and quad setups work well with the six-channel design for a positive, responsive feel. For sizes 6'4" to 7'0", we recommend the new FCS Harley Large Mid set, and for the 7'6" and 7'10" models, the FCS Harley XL quad set. Other medium-to-large fin combinations may also work, but we suggest sticking within that size range for best performance.
